The Court Appointed Attorney Program is continuously seeking letters of interest from attorneys statewide to be considered for a contract and non-contract appointments to provide representation in a variety of roles. Please submit a letter of interest detailing the judicial districts you would be willing to accept court-appointments from by emailing aoccaaff-grp@nmcourts.gov.
Please note that if you already have a contract you do not need to reapply but you can seek expansion of your current contract by contacting CAAP at aoccaaff-grp@nmcourts.gov.
All attorneys seeking to invoice the Court Appointed Attorney Program will need to obtain a New Mexico vendor number, for more information contact us at aoccaaff-grp@nmcourts.gov. [Please note the New Mexico vendor number is utilized by all agencies so you do not have to obtain a new vendor number if you have previously worked with another state agency.]
